ABOUT US

Turning Interest Into Achievement

It all started with a notice on a Buy-Swap-Sell site. One woman wanted to get things done and looked for other women who wanted things done. Hundreds of women answered the call and on 4th October 2015, the PMQ Women's Shed was born. It has morphed and changed with women's needs and has become a vibrant and inclusive part of the Hastings community. PMWS is a not-for-profit entity which exists solely for its members.

Still looking for a permanent home, the Shed has operated from schools and private properties while the Clean Crafts have operated from cafes, halls and private homes. All that matters is that women get together in harmony and support to learn and develop skills and ensure mental well-being.

We are ever-grateful for our founders' vision and the women who have volunteered their time to ensure SHEd life continues to provide a safe and encouraging space for women.

Be part of it.
